What sets a professional apart from a hobbyist is their ability to tackle the tough detailing jobs. Stain removal is one of those tough jobs that requires the right chemicals and tools to get the job done professionally. That's why we at Autoality have created the Meguiar's Carpet and Upholstery Stain Removal Kit. This kit gives the professional detailer what they need to effectively and efficiently remove stains from carpet and upholstery.

The three main items in the kit are the Meguiar's cleaners...D101 All Purpose Cleaner, D106 Fiber Rinse and Tannin Stain Remover and D116 Protein Stain Remover. We've also included the brushes, towels, bottles and OSHA compliant secondary labels you need to get the job done. Once you have all the products bottled and mixed properly, you'll be able to tackle every stain imaginable!

Before tackling interiors, you need to properly dilute the chemicals. We've included these dilution steps with your kit.
  1. Dilute Meguiar's D106 Fiber Rinse & Tannin Stain Remover 4:1 in one of the translucent bottles with the Meguiar's D106 labels on it.
    1. Add 20 oz. of water to the bottle.
    2. Add 5 oz. of Meguiar's D106 Fiber Rinse to the bottle.
    3. Attach the gold sprayer onto this bottle.
  2. Mix Meguiar's D101 All Purpose Cleaner, and Meguiar's D116 Pro Protein Stain Remover, together. This mixture goes in the black bottle with the green label.
    1. Add 18 oz. of water to your black bottle.
    2. Add 4.5 oz. of Meguiar's D101 All Purpose Cleaner Concentrate.
    3. Add 6 oz. of Meguiar's D116 Pro Protein Stain Remover.
    4. Attach one of the gray sprayers to this bottle.
  3. Dilute Meguiar's D106 Pro Fiber Rinse & Tannin Stain Remover 20:1 in the other translucent bottle with the Meguiar's D106 label.
    1. Add 30 oz. of water.
    2. Add 1.5 oz. of Meguiar's D106 Pro Fiber Rinse & Tannin Stain Remover.
    3. Attach the second gray sprayer to this bottle.
Now that you have all your chemicals setup, you're ready to get started! Before starting your stain removing process, you will want to dry brush and vacuum up all the loose dirt and grime on the interior. Here is the procedure to follow, it's the same order as your dilution process.
  1. Use the 4:1 diluted D106 to tackle your tannin stains such as coffee, tea, soda, wine, etc. The reason you start with this is it will not "set" any stains. If its not a tannin stain you can still remove it with your next step. This is the bottle with the gold sprayer.
  2. Any remaining stains, use your D101 and D116 mixture. This mixture will take care of your protein stains as well as your grease and oil stains. Use this on any stains that are left after step 1.
  3. Spray surface down with your Meguiar's D116 diluted 20:1. This will neutralize the the mixture used in step two and prevent any residue from forming. This is the D106 bottle with the grey spray attached.
  4. You're now ready to continue your normal process for attacking all the dirt and grime you need to remove.
We've included cotton towels in this kit because they absorb much quicker than microfiber towels do. As you blot up your cleaner, you will find these cotton towels absorb cleaner and stain fast. The towels are white so you can see how much of the stain you are removing with each blot. 

When clients hire you to perform an interior detail, the expectation is the stains will be removed. Oh so often detailers use the wrong chemicals on stains and end up "setting" them into the fabric.
