Koch Chemie Marine Gh8.01 Gelcoat Heavy Cut is an abrasive machine polish for reconditioning heavily weathered gelcoats and boat paints with a high degree of cutting power and an excellent gloss level. Effectively removes graying, deep scratches, and scuff marks.

It produces a good surface shine on dark gelcoats and paint colors in the first polishing step. It has an extremely long working time with low dust and spray development without burning. It is very easy to wipe off and free from silicone oils.

How to use Koch Chemie Marine Gh8.01 Gelcoat Heavy Cut:

1. Use with a rotary or dual action polisher.
2. Apply 5 pea sized drops to your favorite cutting pad and work in a crosswise pattern.
3. Spread across the section at a slow speed, then increase speed to polish. Increase speed on a rotary polisher to approximately 1,000 rpm and use a dual action polisher on its highest speed setting.
4. Remove any residue with a clean microfiber towel.
5. On dark surfaces, remove remaining compound haze with Koch Chemie Marine Gm3.01 Gelcoat Micro Cut.

After your polishing has been completed, protect the surface with Koch Chemie Marine Protective Sealant to prevent rapid oxidation or soiling.
