Gtechniq's Complete Wheel Coating Kit provides everything needed to apply Gtechniq C5 Wheel Armour. C5 Wheel Armour is a ceramic coating specifically designed to bond to metal surfaces, creating a hydrophobic layer resistant to temperatures up to 600°C.

  • Repels brake dust making your rims very easy to keep clean
  • Safe on alloy wheels, aluminum wheels, and painted wheels with a gloss, satin or matte finish
  • Also apply to brake calipers exhaust tips and other metal surfaces that experience high heat

C5 has been independently tested and proven to be much more durable than other wheel coatings. It uses a unique chemical bond to become the functional surface of your wheels making them dirt and brake dust repellent as well as much easier to clean. C5 is excellent to use on chrome, clear-coated aluminum, and stainless steel wheels, bumpers and engine parts.

At Gtechniq, they develop ceramic coating products that solve real problems. C5 withstands the heat generated during hard braking and even track day use so your wheels will be protected! 

Application Process:
  1. Thoroughly clean your wheels with a dedicated wheel claner to remove brake dust and dirt. Use an Iron Remover to eliminate embedded contamination.
  2. Once clean and dry, wipe down with the included Gtechniq Panel Wipe to ensure a clean surface for application.
  3. Once the entire wheel is coated, wipe off any residue using a clean microfiber towel. Over wiping is not necessary, but make sure all the residue is removed.
  4. Soak the applicator with several drops of C5 and spread the coating on your rim - no more than 1/2 wheel at a time.
  5. Wai 30-45 seconds and buff residue with the included MF1 ZeroR Microfiber Buff Cloth.
  6. Repeat this process on all the wheels.

Allow treated treated surfaces to cure indoors for 12 hours before exposing to the elements.
