The most often asked question is "does this machine have enough power" and the answer is yes. On a fully charged battery you can use a cutting pad for 30 minutes. The machine has a 1400 watt motor with no load speeds of 600 - 2100 RPM. The machine has lower speeds, but offers high torque which is great when your polishing heat-sensitive surfaces. It takes approximately 30 minutes to fully charge a 5 amp battery, so by the time you run out of power your backup battery will be ready to go.
