DETOX is an acidic mineral cleaning shampoo formulated to deep clean, clarify and restore the behavior of your existing protection. Its high-foaming formula is built with premium surfactants, lubricants, safe acidic cleaning agents and chelating agents to help break down and rinse away mineral contamination.

Formulated with a multi-acid mineral cleaning system and chelating agents, DETOX helps clarify the surface and restore the water behavior of your existing protection. Its free-rinsing acidic cleaning system is designed to break down mineral contamination and rinse away completely, without the need for an additional neutralization step. 

DETOX does not add gloss or protection on top of the surface. Instead, it helps remove the buildup that may be masking your existing protection. With DETOX, you can bring clarity, slickness, and hydrophobic behavior back to the finish, making it the perfect choice for hard-water areas, coating maintenance, or winter salt removal.

Detox is formulated in a way that the acids will not stick around once they are rinsed. As a result, there's no need for a 3pH wash system, just a 2pH system from Armour! Make sure you thoroughly rinse to rinse away the acids and there's no reason to come back with a third neutralizing wash step.

DETOX isn't your standard acidic product! In the bottle it has a pH of 1-2, however, once you dilute it in your wash bucket it has a pH of 3-4 providing the perfect balance of strength and performance in a shampoo.

The formula contains phosphoric acid, sulfamic acid (not sulfuric) and citric acid. These are all considered "safe" acids to use. There's no harmful or nasty acids in the formula. This allows DETOX to be used in the sun, making it great for mobile detailers and DIY enthusiasts working at home as well as professionals in a shop environment. 

DETOX is a well rounded product that is safe to use, yet also gets the work done that needs to get done! 

Dilutions vs Acidity (Based on a 7 pH water source):

• 100:1 - 200:1 ~ 3.5 pH
• 512:1 ~ 4 pH

How to use Armour Detail Supply DETOX:

Dilution Ratios:

• Heavy Pre-Soak: 3 oz. in foam cannon bottle
• Standard Foam Cannon: 1 - 3 oz. (Depending on your desired cleaning power)
• Bucket: 1-2 oz. per 3-4 gallons of water

As a 2pH Wash System with DECON SOAP:

1. Add 1-3 oz. of Armour DECON SOAP to your foam cannon bottle.
2. Foam DECON SOAP onto the surface and allow to dwell for as long as possible. 
3. Dilute DETOX 1-3 oz. in a separate foam cannon bottle.
4. Foam DETOX onto the vehicle, right over top of DECON SOAP.
5. Add 1-2 oz of DETOX to 3-5 gallons of water in your wash bucket and perform a contact wash.
6. Thoroughly rinse away soap and foam to fully neutralize DETOX.

As a Standard Acidic Pre-Wash:

1. Dilute 1-3 oz. into your foam cannon bottle depending on your desired level of foam and cleaning power.
2. Allow to dwell.
3. Rinse thoroughly or move onto a contact wash with DETOX in your wash bucket.

Heavy Contamination Wash:

1. Foam DETOX onto the car with your foam cannon, diluting 1-3 oz. in your foam cannon bottle.
2. Foam onto the car and allow to dwell.
3. Add 1-2 oz of DETOX to 3-5 gallons of water in your wash bucket.
4. Perform a contact wash, working down and around the entire vehicle for a much more effective removal.
5. Thoroughly rinse the car to neutralize and rinse away any acidic residue..

Note: Always use Nitrile gloves while working with and handling DETOX.
