Lake Country Backing Plates

Lake Country Manufacturing's Flexible Backing Plates are considered some of the best in the industry.  These Dual Action Flexible Backing Plates minimize heat transfer and they flex to hug the contours of your vehicle.  Constructed of molded polyurethane, they have many outstanding features.
 
They feature the Grip Easy™ Edge which provides a convenient gripping area for easy pad removal.  The Velcro® brand hook material is molded into the polyurethane plate to eliminate separation from the backing plate while polishing.
 
The center of the backing plate has a flexible plastic hub with steel struts molded into it for superior strength.  This center hub is ideal for transitions from flat to contoured surfaces and reduces the risk of spot heating.  The plated steel screw fits any polisher with a 5/8-inch opening, such as the Porter Cable 7424 and 7424XP.

The Dual Action Flexible Backing Plates come in a variety of sizes for use with different sized pads.
43-085DA, Dual Action 3.5 Inch Flexible Backing Plate:  The 3.5 Inch Flexible Backing Plate is designed for use wiht the 4 Inch CCS Spot Buffs.  The threaded post screws directly into your Porter Cable 7424 and 7424XP.  Use with the Spot Buffs to correct and polish small areas of paint.
 
43-125DA, Dual Action 4-3/4 Inch Flexible Backing Plate:  Use the 4-3/4 Inch Flexible Backing Plate wih the 5.5 Inch CCS Foam Pads.  The threaded post screws directly inot your Porter Cable 7424 and 7424XP.  Some poeple use this backing plate with the 6.5 Inch CCS Foam Pads as well.
 
43-148DA, Dual Action 5-3/4 Inch Flexible Backing Plate:  Use the 5-3/4 Inch Flexible Backing Plate with the 6.5 Inch CCS Foam Pads.  The threaded post screws directly into your Porter Cable 7424 and 7424XP.
